Thanks for checking out this site. This demo uses animation techniques to move the potato pieces around on the screen. The frames per second are taken into account at runtime and used as resistance for the velocity of the objects. The slower the objects are moving across the screen, the more resistance on the model. Press "s" to shoot and "r" to reload. It's a fun way to demonstrate how the browsers overall performance, from hardware accelerated graphics, to compiled javascript, to hardware accelerated canvas, will enable a new generation of HTML5 applications. The purpose of these demos is to convey a concept and not intended to be used as a best practice for web development. It’s not the cleanest code, and in some places we took shortcuts to get more demos to you. Enjoy!
